Jackson Wrestling

     
 
Welcome to the Jackson Wrestling Website
The Jackson High School Wrestling Program is composed of students from 9th Grade to 12th Grade. There is a varsity team of 14 weight classes and a Junior Varsity Team.

The program is led by head coach Rocky Laughlin. Coach Laughlin is a third grade teacher at Sauder Elementary School.



This coming fall, Lucas Marcelli will be attending Case Western Reserve University.
 
Jackson High School senior Lucas Marcelli finished his career with the Polar Bears as a two-time State place winner with a career record of 128-39.  This season, he was 32-9 and 6th in the State.  Lucas was also 1st Team All Federal League and 1st Team All County.  Lucas was a two-year captain for Jackson's wrestling team and has been voted as the team's Most Valuable Wrestler by his coaches the past three seasons.  He finished his career at Jackson holding school records for most technical falls and most two-point near falls.
